Whenever you wish to - you will be encouraged to make your own decisions where possible, and as this is your home, you will be entitled to do as you would in your own home albeit maybe with a little more support at times.
How do I receive my mail and parcels?
All your mail will be delivered either to you personally or placed in the reception area for you to collect if you prefer. It can also be left in your room for you. All mail is delivered to you unopened as it is your personal and private property.
Can I choose what I want to eat?
Your preferences are taken into account as soon as you arrive at Cerrig yr Afon. Special dietary requirements are catered for and we have 2 cooks who will accommodate your wishes.
Can I bring my own furniture?
All our rooms are fully furnished, but we are more than happy to remove our furniture for you to bring your own pieces in with you. We have TV aerial connections in all our rooms, and telephone points are available in some rooms but can be added if required. You are encouraged to bring in as many of your personal items as possible to make your room your own.
When can my family visit me - are there any restrictions?
You can receive visitors at any reasonable time of the day or night and they can be entertained in the privacy of your room, or in any of the lounges and communal areas.
Can I go out with relatives and friends?
Yes, of course, you are free to make decisions to come and go as you please. We will need to know for your own safety beforehand so we can help you with any special needs before and during your outing, and to ensure you return to us safe and sound.

Large amounts of cash can be held securely for you and you can withdraw some at any time.
